  5. No additional security is provided for the articles left in booths during the festival. Any items left will be at the owner's own risk.
  6. The Dahlonega Jaycees prefer to reserve all food booths for local church, civic & non-profit organizations. Priority is given to these groups who provide specialty food item (items other than hamburgers, hot dogs, and BBQ). It is to be understood that the demand exists for specialty items such as Greek foods, roast corn, etc., and as long as the previously named groups do not provide for this market, private vendors will be allowed space at a higher base fee.
  7. All items should be removed from booths and booths broken down by 7:30 PM Sunday night.
  8. At the end of each day, you are responsible for putting all of your garbage in bags and placing them in front of your booth for pickup. This will make your area cleaner and more attractive for the next day of sales. Jaycees Trash Cans are not for vendor use in booths. They are for patron use only.
  9. Keep your copy of your contract with you during the festival as well as having someone in your booth ALWAYS.
  10. Please respect the local merchants and fellow vendors. Keep the sidewalks and designated walkways clear of garbage and merchandise. Should "problem" areas arise, and after reasonable notice, a vendor may be asked to leave.
  11. Take time to carefully read and completely fill out your contract. All blanks on the contract mys be complete, except for the booth number. Your booth number will be assigned later if it does not already appear on your contract. You should enter "n/a" for non-applicable on any item that does not pertain to your booth operation.
  12. All fees for booths are non-refundable and must be made by cashier's check or money order, payable to The Dahlonega Jaycees, or paid on-line. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
  13. Concessions will be open Saturday and Sunday.
  14. All vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting all State and Local Sales taxes.

I understand that the monies received are used to defer the cost of GOLD RUSH DAYS with the remaining amounts used in local community work.

I understand that if I violate any of these terms and conditions I will forfeit my reservation fee and will be required to give up my booth.

I understand that the Contracts Committee will review every booth during the weekend event.

I understand that Gold Rush Days is a service mark and trade name of Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Jaycees and cannot be used without express written permission.
